Naruko Gorge....

On 2 November, Bethany, Nina, Tati and I headed over to Naruko gorge to check out the fall color.  We headed over pretty early in the morning, which ended up being really good because the traffic coming in as we headed back to Ishinomaki was insane!
The trip itself was a big deal for Tati and I.  We had gone to Naruko last year by train with the intent to see the gorge, but because of other circumstances, we never made it.

We mostly just wandered around and took lots of photos.  It was really beautiful, and, not wanting to leave so quickly, we found a hiking trail and walked along it for a while before deciding to head back.

On our way out of town, we stopped by the kokeshi museum gift shop so that Tati could have a look around.  They aren't as creepy as most dolls, but still.... *shudder*
