We had bought our tickets from the hotel the day before, but there wasn't much to worry about. Unlike Tokyo Disneyland, Hong Kong had barely anyone there. Still, they opened the gates to let us into the security checkpoints at eight-thirty (half an hour early), and then let us into the part around eight forty-five. They would not, however, let us beyond main street until opening time, which was nine-thirty. Still, I would say there was maybe five hundred people there at most, which made it really nice. While we waited for nine-thirty, we decided to wander around the shops for a bit. Nikki and I both saw shirts that we really wanted, but after the whole China fiasco, we were very wary about spending our money. We came away from Hong Kong Disneyland without any souvenirs (which is probably for the better).
As soon as the ropes were down, we headed straight to Space Mountain, and only had to wait five minutes. We also got the very front row seats--an experience neither one of us had before. It was amazing. From nine-thirty until twelve, the longest line we waited in was ten minutes. We basically got in the whole park in that time. Space Mountain to It's a Small World to Philhar Magic to RC Racer to Toy Solider's Parachute Drop (but the ride broke down so we didn't get to ride it) to Mystic Manor to Big Grizzly Mountain Runaway Mine Cars to the Festival of the Lion King. The park isn't very big, so there wasn't much more than that to do. When we came out of the Festival of the Lion King, the number of people in the park more than doubled and all the wait times for rides jumped up to over half an hour. Still, the longest wait time was seventy minutes, and that was for Pooh's Hunny Hunt.
We searched for food while they set blocked the main paths for the Flights of Fantasy parade, which we ended up watching a little of because it blocked our path back to the restaurant we decided to eat at (the Feast of Fools). It started getting really hot out, and the humidity was really bad, so after lunch we headed back to It's a Small World to escape the heat for a bit. After that we went to the English version of Stitch Encounter, where Nikki was chosen as the love of Stitch's life. I could not stop laughing. He tried to name a planet after her, but spelt her name "Nykky." He then accidentally destroyed the planet when trying to delete the name he had entered. Absolutely hilarious. We did Space Mountain, Big Grizzly Mountain Runaway Mine Cars, and Mystic Manor one more time before calling it a day.

Every Disneyland has it's own unique rides. For Hong Kong Disneyland, they are Mystic Manor and Big Grizzly Mountain Runaway Mine Cars. Also, It's a Small World differs between each Disneyland. At Hong Kong, they have placed various characters from the movies into each scene (so Aladdin and Jasmin in the Middle East, Stitch in the Islands, Cinderella in Europe, so on and so forth).
As they set up for another parade, the lines for the rides began to get shorter again, but my head was beginning to get that all-too familiar uncomfortable pounding and Nikki was tired. When we got back to the hotel, I took a nap while Nikki took a shower, then went downstairs to use the sport's bar's wi-fi (the only place we could get wi-fi). We relaxed for the rest of the evening and watched a movie.
